Privacy Policy
עבריתLast updated: 2026-07-28
This document describes the data Scoutr (the "Service") collects, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have. The Service is operated by Swerve ("we", "us", the "Company"), and is available at scoutrbot.com and via messaging apps (Telegram, WhatsApp). The Hebrew version of this policy is the binding version; this English translation is provided for convenience only.
1. Data controller
The Company is the data controller for your personal information within the meaning of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981. You may contact us at any time on privacy matters at support@scoutrbot.com.
2. What we collect
- User identifier: Telegram user ID (telegramId) or WhatsApp phone number.
- Search profile: city, neighbourhood, room count, budget, deal type, requested amenities (parking, elevator, safe room, etc.), no-broker preference.
- First name: if provided to the bot in conversation.
- Service events: alerts sent, click-throughs, bot interactions. These are used for matching quality and to prevent duplicate alerts.
- Optional email: only if you opt in to digest emails.
- Premium & payment data: subscription type, billing dates, active/cancelled state, a Cardcom token used only to charge the subscription. We do not see or store full credit card numbers.
3. Digital signing of brokerage agreements
Scoutr provides real-estate agencies with a digital signing service for brokerage agreements. If you were asked to sign an agreement via a link sent to you, the following applies:
- Data collected: full name, national ID number (if entered), phone or email, the signature image you drew or typed, and the IP address and browser details at the time of signing.
- Purpose: producing the signed agreement, preserving it as a faithful copy for the parties, and recording the signing circumstances to establish authenticity.
- Controller: the agreement is between you and the real-estate agency. The agency is the data controller; we process the data solely on its behalf. Questions about the agreement content should go to the agency; questions about the system to us.
- Retention: the signed agreement and signing data are kept for as long as the agency operates on the system, in line with statutory document-retention duties.
- Signing links: the link sent to you is personal; do not forward it to others.
4. Purposes of processing
- Match new listings to your search profile and send timely alerts.
- Prevent duplicate alerts and improve match quality.
- Diagnose delivery failures and prevent service abuse.
- Process Premium payments, including auto-renewals and cancellations.
- Operational communication (payment confirmation, cancellation, terms changes).
- Compliance with legal obligations (tax record-keeping, consumer rights).
5. Legal basis for processing
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and its regulations, we process data on one of the following bases:
- Consent: when you sign up to the bot and submit your search preferences.
- Performance of a contract: when you have an active Premium subscription.
- Legitimate interest: abuse prevention, troubleshooting, service quality.
- Legal obligation: tax and consumer-rights record retention.
6. Data sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We share data with infrastructure providers strictly to operate the Service:
- Vercel (application hosting): network traffic and operational logs.
- Supabase (database): search profiles and subscription data.
- Resend (email delivery): operational email only, opt-in.
- Cardcom (Israeli card processor, PCI-DSS): Premium payments.
- Meta Platforms and Twilio: WhatsApp message delivery.
- Telegram: Telegram bot message delivery.
- Apify: source-data scraping (no personal data of yours is shared).
All these providers are contractually bound to process the data only to operate the Service.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers (Vercel, Resend) operate infrastructure outside Israel, including in the United States and the European Union. These transfers happen under standard contractual clauses that ensure a level of protection equivalent to Israeli law.
8. Retention
- Search profiles: for as long as the account is active.
- Alert history: 90 days from the time of sending.
- Premium & payment records: up to 7 years, for tax record-keeping under Israeli law.
- After account deletion: all personal data is deleted within 30 days, except records we are required by law to retain.
9. Your rights
Under the Privacy Protection Law, you have the right to:
- Access: see what data we hold about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information.
- Deletion: request deletion of your data (except records we are legally obligated to keep).
- Objection: object to processing for marketing purposes.
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@scoutrbot.com. We will handle your request within 30 days. You can also request fast deletion by sending the bot the message "delete my account".
10. Security
We take industry-standard measures to protect the data, including encryption in transit (TLS), at-rest database encryption, restricted internal access, and periodic reviews. However, no online service is fully secure. If you believe you have detected a security breach, contact us immediately.
11. Cookies and tracking
Our marketing site (scoutrbot.com) uses essential cookies for remembering your preferences only. We do not run third-party tracking tools for targeted advertising or psychographic profiling.
12. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from users under 18. If you become aware of an under-age user, contact us and we will delete the account.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material change via the bot and/or the email address on file at least 14 days before it takes effect.
